The relays of the EZIO4O provide normally open and normally closed contacts rated 0.5A @ 30VDC or 120VAC that can be controlled via INSTEON or X10 commands. A programmable timer can be set on each relay to turn it off, providing momentary action from 1 second to 255 minutes. Of course, the EZIO4O works with Indigo, which means you can create complex logic, triggers, and schedules that supplement the basic functionalities of the EZIO4O even more.

General Info

The EZIO4O provides 4 relays that can switch DC or AC loads at the point of need, thus avoiding wiring complications. The EZIO4O responds to INSTEON and X10 commands to turn on or off each or any combination of the 4 relays. The relays can be used to switch loads such as large relays, furnace heaters, blowers, chimes, momentary pushbuttons, etc. As an INSTEON responder, the relays can be linked simultaneously or individually to a group command from an INSTEON controller such as the KeypadLinc or the EZX10RF. Of course, with the Link Management feature of Indigo 6 you can even do the linking while sitting at your Mac instead of running from one module to the next pushing reset buttons. The EZIO4O also has a pass-through outlet that may be used for other appliances.
